About us:
American Booksellers is a family owned business with close ties to the antiquarian book trade. Dan Gaeta, owner of the John Bale Book Company, has more than 40,000 books online and the work involved with managing this inventory made the idea of outsourcing attractive. Unfortunately, the traditional warehouse solutions are ill-suited for managing used books.

The answer came from Dan's wife Edith Reynolds and brother Michael Gaeta. Together they developed a warehouse system for serving the bookselling industry. The warehouse is in the heart of downtown Waterbury, one block north of I84 in central Connecticut. We maintain a floor within a former department store that's clean, safe, and just one block away from the post office.
